BEDFORD

Bedford is a large multi-ethnic city sized town lying on the Great Ouse about 40 miles due North of London. With excellent road and rail links, it is well within commuter distance of London. Luton airport is only 35 minutes away and Heathrow can be reached in 55 minutes by road.

What is Bedford famous for? Very little really! John Bunyan was born here.......... Famous airship hangars are just down the road at Cardington, very close to where we live........Eddie the Eagle lives here.....Rory Underwood plays for the Blues......The river floods about once a year much to all the authorities suprise...........and thats about it!
