I was born in 1941 in Deal, Kent about 500 yards from where Julius Caesar first set foot in England. (No relation). I am 6 feet three inches tall, married to Rosalind. I have two daughters and two grandchildren, all of whom live nearby. I am a retired ex RAF aircraft engineer/civil servant. I live in a small village on the outskirts of Bedford, within sight of the famous airship hangars at Cardington.

Hobbies.

I enjoy fiddling with computers. I have a TIME 450 MHz, a Dell 486, and an Amiga 4000/060. I use the Dell to get experience replacing hard drives/cards/etc that I bid at for at our local auction rooms. I have only just ventured onto the Web, and I still have much to learn.

I collect British commemorative stamps, and I am always in the market for swaps if anyone is interested. Drop me an E-mail on what you have and what you want.

Golf has always been a passion. My lowest handicap was 9 when it was a religion. I relegated it to a game years ago, came down to a sensible 11 and actually enjoy it all the more. Have'nt played for some time though, far too busy with computers!

I keep a large tank of tropical fish, mostly angels and sharks.
