STAMPS

I have collected British commemerative stamps since Elizabeth II came to the throne. Some say Elizabeth I, but mostly they go away nursing an injury. I also collect first day covers, and I have a nice collection of RAF squadron covers, some with signatures. Does anyone remember the TransAtlantic Air Race? I have that one, and also a unique cover, obtained whilst I was serving in the Falklands. I was attached to the Tornado Flight as Engineering Officer and was lucky enough (if that is the word!), to be down there when the RAF celebrated its 50th Anniversary. They brought out a special Falklands Edition, and I got mine signed by the aircrew down there at that time and I also authorised it as Engineering Officer. A truly unique cover.
