Clark, Mrs Virginia - from Los Angeles. She told of how she was in bed at the time of impact. Looking out of the large cabin window she witnessed the huge iceberg sliding past. When she scrambled to the window to get a better view, it had disappeared into the distance, giving credance to the view that the vessel was travelling at high speed. (NY Herald April 19).
