Brown, Mrs Margaret Tobin (Molly) - the infamous Denver socialite known as the Unsinkable Molly Brown. She was returning home to Denver after spending the winter in Europe as a guest of the Astor party. After landing in New York on the Carpathia, she helped raise funds for the Titanic victims and presented Captain Arthur Rostrom, (Carpathia), with a loving cup. Her subsequent insurance claim was for over $27,000 dollars and included one necklace valued at $20,000.

Brown, Mrs J M - With her sisters, Mrs Appleton and Mrs Cornell, she was returning home after attending the wedding of another sister in Southampton, England. All three survived.

He had been on semi-official business in Europe and had presented a personal message to the Pope from US President Taft, thanking him for creating three American cardinals. After assisting passengers into the boats he was seen playing cards until 2.10am in the First Class smoking room. He had recently become engaged, and was due to marry later that year.

Byles, Rev. Thomas Roussell - Father Byles was travelling to officiate at his brothers wedding in New York. He gave absolution and heard confessions as Titanic sank.
